The reveal I have been so excited to share. Warm woods, soft boucle, a record always spinning and a whole lot of green. Here is every corner, and every piece.

Our sitting room might be my favourite room we have ever done. It took time, a lot of saved pins and a fair bit of patience waiting for the right pieces to land, but it finally feels like us. Warm woods, soft boucle, a record on rotation and enough green to make it feel alive. Here is every corner and every piece, so you can steal the bits you love.

Everything started with the couch. I fell for the Evelyn curved boucle in a soft cream and built the whole room around it. It is the kind of piece you sink into on a Sunday and do not move from for hours, and the curve softens the whole space. We paired it with a walnut coffee table and a chunky checkered tray, and it instantly became the cosiest corner in the house.

Daniel is the one up the ladder with a roller in hand, because that olive green did not paint itself, and I am the one fussing over the styling, the light and the little details afterwards. I shoot our home the way I see it, soft, warm and a little feminine, and honestly that is what gives a room its character. A family home does not have to be all neutral and practical. The pretty, considered, feminine touches are exactly what make it feel like ours, and I love that we get to build that in together, his hands and my eye.

I wanted the room to feel like it had a soundtrack, so the buffet became our little music moment. The Crosley record player lives on top with a stack of our favourites close by, Florence, Adele, Lewis Capaldi and Ed Sheeran on high rotation. A trumpet on the wall and a few thrifted finds keep it feeling collected over time, not bought all at once.

Console styling is my little love language. A sculptural lamp for warm light, a coffee table book (The Art of Home is my current favourite), a diffuser, and a couple of framed photos that actually mean something. The trick is layering different heights and keeping it to a few beautiful things rather than a lot of clutter.

It is always the small things that make a room feel finished. Faux greenery that never dies, a big candle burning most evenings, marble coasters, a checkered tray and a warm olive wall colour tying it all together. None of it is expensive on its own, but together it is what makes the room feel like a warm hug.
